Requesting a physical Debit Card
Request a replacement for your missing, stolen or damaged Debit card
Order a replacement card using your mobile phone. Sign into the Mobile App, select Menu from Options bar then Manage Debit/Credit Card. Once you found the right card, select Replace and continue to follow the prompts. (See the Personal Schedule of Fees for replacement card costs)

Activate your new debit card—there are 3 ways to do this:
- Call 888.624.2323 (outside the U.S. call collect: 925.675.6195)
- Use it with your current PIN to make a purchase or at any Bank of America ATM
- Log in to Online Banking. or Mobile Banking
Change your PIN:
- If you know your PIN: Visit a Bank of America ATM and select More Options then Change PIN. You can also change your PIN at a financial center.
- If you do not know your PIN:Visit a financial center or call 800.432.1000 (Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-10 p.m. or Sat.-Sun. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) and we will mail you a reminder.
Notify us of any upcoming travel—there are 2 ways to do this:
- Log in to Online Banking. and enter your trip details
- Call 800.432.1000 (Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-10 p.m. or Sat.-Sun. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
Lost or stolen card?
Notify us immediately by signing in to Online Banking or contact us. You can also report your debit card lost or stolen via the Mobile Banking app.

What is a chip card? A chip card is a standard-size plastic debit card that contains an embedded microchip as well as the traditional magnetic stripe. The chip encrypts information to help increase data security when making transactions at terminals or ATMs that are chip enabled.
